All the leaked specs of Samsung’s new generation Galaxy Flip along with the price leak
Just a few days ago after the complete spec leak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 by Smartprix, another spec leak for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 was done by the smartprix. Though it is not sure from which sources smartprix leaked the specs of Galaxy Fold 6, it can be assumed that the specs of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be the same as the specs leaked by smartprix. According to the complete leaked specs by Smartprix, Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will get some major updates in the chipset, main camera, and battery section over its previous generation model, Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will use the new generation chipset, Snapdragon 8 gen 3. Which is one generation ahead of its previous year’s model. This same chipset is used in the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and according to the smartprix, Samsung will be using this next-generation chipset in its new Galaxy Z Fold 6 also.
The next major update will be in the Camera section, mainly in the primary camera section. Samsung will use a 50 MP, f/1.8 sensor in the main camera which is a high jump from only 12 MP sensor on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The update of the camera section also leaked from various sources. So, it can be confirmed that Samsung will implement the 50 MP sensor on this year’s Flip model.
Samsung also brings the update in the battery section of the Galaxy Z Flip 6. In previous years, Samsung provided the 3,700Mah batter on their Galaxy Z Flip 5 model, but this year they will provide the 4,000mAh batter on their upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 model. By using the combination of a bigger battery and the next-generation chipset, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will provide better battery backup compared to its previous generation model.
Another major update is in the color variation. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be available in four colors: Mint, Silver Shadow, Yellow, and Blue.
The updates of these three major sections, Chipset, Camera, and Battery, make the Galaxy Z Flip 6 a decent upgrade to its predecessor. Apart from these sections, the specs of all the other sections will be almost like the latest leaked specs.
Similarity with its predecessor
As per the smarprix, Galaxy Z Flip 6 contains a display of 6.7 inches 1080×2640 pixels which is the same as the Galaxy Z Flip 5. On the cover screen, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will contain a display of 3.4 inches 720×748 pixels, the same as the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
According to the smartprix’s leaked spec, Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have the dimensions of 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9mm when folded, 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9mm when unfolded, which makes the Flip 6 0.2mm thinner when folded compared to the Flip 5. In terms of weight, both Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be 187g.
Besides, Except for the update in the main camera, Samsung will use the same camera of Z Flip 5, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP selfie camera on their new Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Price
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be 100$ higher than the Galaxy Z Flip 5, as per the recent Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Price Leak. But the upgrade in the major three sections such as the Chipset, main camera, and battery can make the turning point. Along with the upgrade of these three parts, Samsung can brand their new Galaxy Z Flip 6 as powered by AI which they have done for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. In that case, the more advanced AI features than its predecessor will make the turning point of its selling.
